Announcement

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Edible Landscapes and most Sustainable Living Arts School classes (except those listed below), workshops and nursery sales will be closed until the fall.  The website will be updated intermittently as required.  Thank you for your continued support!

Plants, Seeds, Teas and Herbal Products

Share

Edible Landscapes is nestled into a small forest clearing, and the plants here are watered with a combination of the clearest mountain water and rainwater - this is the perfect place to grow pristine herbs! All herbs are hand selected and harvested, carefully air dried and hand packaged - for the freshest possible product.

We are currently working on a shopping cart for our site, but in the meantime, you can place your order as per the instructions below.  It's a bit rudimentary, but it works!  We appreciate your patience as we work to get a robust shopping cart up and running.  If you have any trouble with the form, please don't hesitate to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by phone at 604.985.4505.  Getting you the plants, seeds and products you want is our priority!

To Order

At this point, I am still supplying rural customers who use old-fashioned cheques, and this has not failed us yet.  We also offer payment via Paypal - please use the checkboxes in our order form below to let me know what seeds or herbal products you are interested in, and include your name, address and contact information, as well as any special instructions (such as wanting more than one of a particular item, etc.).

If paying by cheque, please send payable to Edible Landscapes. I will hold your cheque until the plants are packed – there is some room for adjustments until that time – no later!

So This is What Happens

  1. Once I receive your order via the form below, I will make email contact with you.  I can discuss any possible changes then (oops - Only have 4” Welsh onion!), and finalize your order.
  2. I will provide you with a final total – this is the time to mail your cheque or pay via a PayPal invoice which will be sent on your request.
  3. Your order will be sent out between one week and 10 days of receipt. Plants can be shipped between April and October (exceptions made). They will be removed from their pots and wrapped in damp sawdust to reduce weight, unless you specify otherwise. And if you are visiting the Sunshine Coast, please call to make arrangements to drop by! You might see some little surprises that did not make it to the web site.

Approximate Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for minimum order (under a kilo) approx $7.79 to most of BC, about $8.87 to Quebec. A box of 6 1/2 kilos, insured, is about $10 to most of BC, $12 to $14 to Quebec. I can pack a lot of plants into 6 ½ kilos. Please include approximate shipping costs with your cheque – we can work out minor difference in plants later. Happy planting, and stay in touch!

Delivery to BC and throughout Canada Only

Due to the costs involved with shipping plants into the US, we can serve only Canadian customers at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Kind Words

Wheeler Knows Her Stuff

My favourite was Gardening for the Faint of Heart … Wheeler knows her stuff and presents it in a way that reassures and informs novice gardeners but also entertains...

Janice Wells - Chronicle-Herald, Halifax
The Dark Side Smartly Exorcized

Finally! The long awaited realist view on gardening! The dark side smartly exorcized with wit and affection, this book is both a hoot and excellent reference guide. … Her respect for the reader raises her book heads above the others.

CiTR Radio - Toronto
The Right Book at the Right Time

If any book was ever published at the right moment, it's [Food Security for the Faint of Heart].  Rising food prices - and in more and more parts of the world rising food scarcity - trigger our most primal fears.  Robin Wheeler's book will calm you down and make your eating life simultaneously cheaper, healthier, and more elegant.
